A warm welcome to everyone!
In the coming few days, we will be slowly getting the initiative off the ground, and offering a series of regular online mindfulness meditation sessions that you can join in during the day.
The initial series of sessions will be offered to existing groups, cohorts, and colleagues from within the humanitarian, human rights, development, and academic sectors, that have been part of networks that I have worked with before.
This will allow us to pilot the initiative with smaller agency and academic cohorts, before opening up the sessions more generally potentially. It will also allow us to beta test the system prior to a potentially wider and more diverse audience participating.
In the meantime, please do feel free to get in touch if you wish to explore a potential dedicated session, or trainings with your respective agencies, departments, colleagues, or teams.
I particularly welcome teams and departments from the NHS, along with surge and emergency response workers, not only from the members of the Wellbeing Cluster in the Philippines, but also, from colleagues across all NGOs and agencies responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, and supporting vulnerable communities, across the globe.
In gratitude of the efforts of our first responders and care givers in the UK, and around the world, working selflessly in the spirit of kindness and compassion, myself, and affiliated friends and colleagues from Simply Mindful, via this 'Being Inside' initiative, will be privileged to support you as best as we can with these regular online sessions.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Wishing you to all remain safe and healthy in the coming weeks and months.
All my best
